Bach English Suite No. 2 vs. French Suite No. 6
on: October 07, 2006, 11:17:46 AM
My teacher has given me the option to learn either selected mvts from English Suite no. 2 or French Suite No. 6. The mvts I would probably choose are as follows:
From French Suite No. 6:
Allemande
Courante
Sarabande
Bouree
Gigue
or
From English Suite No. 2
Prelude
Allemande
Bouree
Which option is a) more difficult/time comsuming to learn, and b) more worth the effort (in your opinion) ?

It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.
A world, in short, totally unlike our own.
