A certain piece I want to learn...
on: October 10, 2006, 03:28:42 AM
Hello, my name's Aryeh. I'm new here, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for a post like this, or anything like that. I came across a piano piece with somewhat of a Middle-Eastern rhythm to it, and sounds realy cool to me. I would really like to learn this song, and this style of playing in general. I've tried very hard to get sheets for this song; I emailed the musician who played it, but he told me that even he doesnt't have sheets for it. If anyone here is particularly good at playing a song just by hearing it, please help me out. I've tried converting it to a midi and working from there, but it doesn't come out nice. The song is called "Mipi Kel" and can be heard here:

I think its some sort of hebrew song. Although it only gives you a one minute demo of the song, thats all I would like to learn, as its the theme for the whole thing. If anyone could tell me what this style is called, and how to play it, that would really be of help. Thanks everyone.
