Ever heard of them? They're an Icelandish band with an amazing sound, I highly recommend you to listen to some of their tracks and hear for yourself.

Pure pleasure in sound I think.

Sounds (the name, that is) abit like "Rigau Ros" - but then that, far from being Icelandic, is a Catalan wine from the Empordá...

Best,

Quite the contrary, Sigur Rós is icelandic for "victory rose". They are by far my favorite non-classical musicians.

I'm so glad I've found more Sigur Ros lovers!!! WOOHOO

Ok, now what's your favourite Sigur Ros track? I only have () and Takk, and I have quite a few favourites, so in fact lets change it to favourite(s) to allow you to post more than one favourite. I mean come on, who can actually choose one song above the rest? They're all SOO GOOD!

The first track on () is fantastic. So is hoppipolla from Takk, which just makes me happy. You should really get Ágætis byrjun, it has some of their best songs, including Olsen Olsen and Stáralfur... BA BA TI KI DI DO is really nice as well. They're amazing live.

I did know that, actually! I was merely joking...

Yes, Vaka from () is an amazing track. It gives me shivers everytime I listen to it. Alafos and Popplagi are also amazing songs, and also Glosoli from Takk.

Have you seen the video to Glosoli? It's available on their Icelandish website, www.sigur-ros.is
