Halting my Gold membership
on: October 16, 2006, 05:38:27 PM
Hi,
I tried to stop my gold membership and get it back to be a silver one but I don't know how. I tried to see any control from my account page that does this but I couldn't find. Could you please tell me how to do it?? I don't wanna pay $3 each month for nothing !!! (Nothing is from me btw, coz i don't usually download sheet music from pianostreet)

No problem, I will cancel it for you right now and your account will be dowgraded to Silver on 2 November.

BTW, the information about how to cancel (and many other useful things) can be found here:

Thanks. But I have a suggestion.....

I don't think it is a good idea that whenever I should know something I should go to the FAQs. I guess the controls should be clearer than this in the My account page.

Greetings.

On a side topic allow me to inquire you about something Nils. Do you take in membership status into account when banning members. Are you more likely to ban a "silver" member rather than a "gold" one?

Thanks for your suggestion.  :)
For PayPal subscribers there is a direct link for cancellation on the my account page but for technical reasons there is no such link for WorldPay (credit card) subscribers. As a temporary solution I have now added a link there to the information about cancellation but we will try to create an even better solution later on.

Anyway, there is also information in the signup email and in every monthly payment receipt email which tells you to email customerservice@pianostreet.com. This is usually the the most common and convenient way for members to cancel.

Greetings.

It is preferable to start a new thread when you have a completely off topic question.

We are not likely to ban anyone but if we really need to, there is no difference between the membership levels.

Yes, most likely but it would depend on the reason for the banning.
