(Im joking)  ;D

Great jazz pianist and Good classical painist.
The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

he's a lunatic in a ferrari.  but, i like it.

i like his lightness of playing.  if he warms up on mozart - he's got a really great technique for a jazz pianist.  the only thing is- with the romance (2nd mov't) his elbow comes out and he makes more wrist movements than he needs to.  i found this out about my own playing.  as soon as i relaxed the whole arm from the neck - i no longer had the 'elbows out' sometimes.  it relieves you of choreographing your arms to go with your hands and wrists.

in many ways, he's probably similar in genius to mozart.  he actually understands what he's doing musically.  probably gets a bit wild at the cadenzas?  come to think of it - he's probably the only one in our day and age that can actually still improvise a cadenza on the spot.  he's my pdq version of mozart.
