Teaching Teachers

I am wondering how you handle this.

If you are a teacher who has students learning to play the piano, but the individual also teaches and is wanting to know how you teach, do you just include this in their regular lessons ?

Do you separate these kinds of lessons out and charge something different ?  Perhaps you run classes that are intended just for teachers to gain insight from you on teaching ?

Thanks,

Hello, m1469!

Interesting topic to me, because much of my teaching now is teaching pedagogy.

Rather than individual pedagogy "lessons" (which I have rarely done...it just doesn't seem to lend itself well to that venue),  I think there is greater value for both teacher and student-teachers to work in a group situation, much like the workshops and seminars that the larger piano guilds are able to present.
