Does anyone (Thalbergmad) happen to have Thalberg's Semiramide De Rossini.  I've been listing to it pretty much non stop for a few days, and te gamingforce link in invalid.

do you have an opus number? a lot of my thalberg scores are organized like that. also, is there another name for it? or a subtitle? or perhaps thal knows what he is tqalking about off the bat and can post it, heh.

It's op. 51. I was sure I had this, but it seems I don't; I recently had a hard drive failure and my last back-up probably was before I acquired it. So I'll be interested in getting the score also..

I think he just plays his own coda (as well as making some small additions to the score earlier).  Francesco Nicolosi (noted Thalberg pianist and president of the International Sigismund Thalberg Study Centre) plays the coda as written in the score. Earl Wild is by no means averse to a little bit of score-tampering (not that I have a problem with this- sometimes the results are interesting :) ) ; observe for example the coda in his 60s recording of the Mephisto Waltz.
