The Stars under your username

WHat do they mean?? Are they a person's rating on this site? I've always wondered why but never asked until now.

Greetings.

The more stars a member wields, the greater the amount of carnage he is allowed to do to this forum, including posting otherwise inapropriate material.

Joking aside, the stars do not mean anything, aside from indicating Gold Membership and Silver Membership. Nils of course has 6 stars. To the extent of my knowledge, the stars don't mean anything(sorry to be repetious), but they just might, due to the overall secrecy and many coverups in this forum.

So why do some people from really old posts sometimes only have 1 or 2 stars?

back in the day you used to get a star for each new level you reached (1 for newbie, through 4 for senior member).  I personally like that way more

But also there are stars that are "lighted" and others are not. It'd be nice if Mr.Nils could explain this.

Yes if the stars are lighted that means the person is not single hence not looking for a partner, is the stars are not lighted that means the person is not homosexual and is currently looking for a partner.

Lighted stars mean:

(possibilitys)

1.That person is a gold member
2.That person is an admin
3.That person hacked into nils's account and changed his colour
4.That person is so rich that he can afford gold stars
5.You are suffering from colour blindness ;D
