R Serkin - Beethoven
on: November 08, 2006, 03:05:17 AM
Listening to Rudolf Serkin's Beethoven op109 recorded live in 1987, is it my imagination or does he play the vivace sixteenth note passages with a "swing" rhythm?! If anyone else has this recording ("The Incomparable Rudolf Serkin") listen to me and confirm what I ... think? my ears are telling me!
