on: November 08, 2006, 09:11:32 PM
Hey, I have to do a Viva Voce (discussion on a particular subject referring to the 6 main concepts) I am doing 19th century (romantic) and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for topics (something like liszt, schumann, chopin).

can you explain the six main concepts of 'viva voce?'

something i was looking into before stopping for a bit - was chopin's love of combining forms during the latter period of his composition.  polonaise-fantasy, for instance.  you can find some good stuff on this.  i'll try to find an article again that i found in a polish journal on this subject.  it's a good read.
