Some Useful Links
on: November 08, 2006, 11:17:12 PM
Just thought I'd post some links that I've found useful.  If anyone has any links to add, feel free to!  I'm sure that a lot of people already know about these sites, but if you don't, enjoy!

SheetMusicFox - Has (I think) the exact same selection of sheet music as sheetmusicarchives.com, except you can download as many pieces of sheet music every day as you want.
Claudio Colombo - MP3's of many pieces of music (all Scarlatti sonatas, Chopin preludes, Grieg Lyric Pieces and much more).  The site isn't in English, but it's still fairly easy to navigate.
Scarlatti's Sonatas - Sheet music for all the Longo editions of Scarlatti's sonatas.

thanks quoppa!  although i see sheetmusic fox only has about one item per composer - except for hanon (it has almost everything for hanon).  no matter.  those of you that want do a little finger bending can have it for free now!  poor hanon.  his end has come.

ps i've tried navigating those non-english sites.  it's like driving your car in rush hour traffic in a big city.  i'm scared to click on claudio columbo.

scarlatti longo edition - cool!  the dover edition has both the longo and kirpatrick number - but i only have a portion of these.  twill be nice to get the rest!  now i have to go back to my book and figure out which ones of the longo i don't have.

Thank's for the Claudio Colombo, I'd actually been looking for something like that.
