Why is this forum so addicting?

I've never been on a forum , or a chat room type person or poster on websites until this one!     Now it's like I can't stop reading /posting!    I leave it signed on most all day  while I'm in my studio and check things on breaks!    Maybe it's because as teachers most of us don't have the comradery of fellow workers.   We are isolated except for our students and their families.    I think this site possibly makes us feel connected to the "outside" world.   Any thoughts!

I think the word "isolation" is rather apt. Nobody that I know is even remotely interested in pianos or pianists, but on here everyone is.

Also due to the large amount of active members, there is no shortage of posts to view and respond to.

This forum is indeed very precious.

Especially when it gets its intended priorities right and puts all matters pianistic first and those concerning the inverted canine - er - not first...
