Sonata Help!!!

hello!!

I have to chose a new sonata. The last sonata I played was Beethovenīs "Moonlight" (complete!!!).
I īm playing Bachs Partita nš1, Chopin etudes op10 nš5, op25 nš1,nš2 and nš7, Debussyīs "Les collines DīAnacapri", Liszt "soneto 104 del petrarca", Shumannīs Papillons and Chopinīs Nocturne op 27nš1.

So, which sonata should I play next? I have a preference for Beethoven ones...

I would suggest you either op.2/3 C major or maybe E flat major op.31/3 (my favourites).. these are virtuozo sonatas but if you wish some more musicaly difficult then you can choose op.28 Pastoral or op.31/2 d minor

Op. 27 no. 1 in E^b is very beautiful too. The sibling of the so called moonlight (Which name leads to misinterpretation btw)

I believe that Appassionata and Waldstein are perhaps a bit much for this level.

Out of the 32 Sonatas, here are my suggestions:


Op.78 in F# major
Op.28 in D major
Op.22 in Bb major
Op.90 in E minor
Op.2 No.2 in A major
Op.31 No.1 in G major

those are good.  i'm doing 2/2 myself.

op.31 no.2 and 3 are musically difficult and virtuosic but are really good.  Op.7 and Op.10/3 are also good.

I wouldn't recommend those since they're a little overplayed.

i ve been thinking and i ve "restricted" my choices to 8 sonatas... eheheh but... i can only chose one  and thatīs difficult part because i like them all... 

these are the sonatas in my "restricted selection":

-op26
-op28
-op31/2
-op53
-op57
-op81a
-op91

what do you think? could you advise me? which are hardest/easiest etc... and of course what seems to you more apropriate for my level...

and of course you personal opinion in terms of beauty...

Opp.53 and 57 take 1st place for difficulty by far, Op.81a coming in second to them.

Op.26 is the easiest.

For your level? As I said before, go with Op.28 or Op.90, or if you want a bigger challenge maybe Op.22

Personally, I don't think that it gets any better than Op.28 and Op.90, save for possible the late sonatas and Op.7. The 'Pastorale' Sonata happens to be my favorite, and I'm learning it right now.
