What is your most addicting food?
on: November 23, 2006, 03:11:19 AM
I know that the topic is really random, but my curiosity has overcome me.  what is ya'lls most addicting food, you know, you eat one bite and you are hooked?  mine are musketeer bars.  if i eat one, i can't help but eat the rest.

we just had halloween and you're still eating candy.  shhh.  we are too.  even after throwing some in the trash when the kids were at school.  there's still bags of it around.

i like candy corn.  i'm still eating it.  just a few a day.  kind of like medicine.

my favorite food to eat a lot of is yogurt.   i like to put trail mix on top.

my double chocolate raspberry torte
It would blow anyone's mind. It's like 1/4 cup of flour for the cake part and the rest is just chocolate and eggs and butter. The inside is a white choclate icing with a well in the middle that I put a raspberry purée. Another layer of the cake followed by more icing. I cut it up, serve it with hot drizzled dark chocolate and whole raspeberries on a bed of white chocolate and more raspberry purrée swirled just enought to mix the colours.

Pretty much to die for.  And you'd die if you ate it too often.

I can't leave a bag of marshmallows alone.  I can polish off a massive bag of the *** things by myself in a week.

I like bananas too.

What's haggis?

Several years ago, some donated some haggis for our Christmas food drive (we called them "boxes of love"), and after sorting and distributing food, I don't think we ended up actually giving the haggis to anyone, but I don't remember what it was.

I've recently found out I'm no longer allergic to bananas.  It's been years since I've chowed on one, so that's my next mission.

I don't know how to refuse seafood.  Endless shrimp at Red Lobster, MMmmmmm.  I could eat some sushi until my stomach ruptures (I found out what roe means the hard way).

I actually got a bowl filled with King Edwards for my 5th birthday, I was the happiest boy alive :D

Malteasers are pretty hard to put down. In fact the only way I can stop eating Malteasers is to eat all of them. Kinder Hippo's are also damn nice! And soups, I can't get enough of soups, especially soups at Wagamamas's :D

Most addicting food? Hmmm...thats a toughy. I find Salmon Sashimi MOST addicting, but I also LOVE chocolate, and maybe some chocolate ice cream :P, potatoes(mashed or cold, not stir fried(yuck)). I don't really like classy foods that much, despite being chinese, I prefer western.

I didn't realise there was a market for vegetarian haggis... It's almost an oxymoron. No wait, it should be one.

It is one, isn't it? I dunno, I never want to try Haggis... though maybe if I tried it without knowing how it was made, and I liked it, and then did I find out how it was made I probably wouldn't care because I liked it. But hearing beforehand makes me avoid the stuff entirely.

There have been other gross delicacies in various countries, for example 'spamalamadingdong' from Texes. It was introduced during the 1994 spamala festival. This dish was made out of chocolate, fat, and meaty jelly. ;)
