Help! how to repair a ZIP file? (bad CRC)

My friend sent me a zip file
But I can't open it,
'bad CRC',  ???
can I change the CRC?
if not, what can i do with it?
Please help.....!

(he didn't tell me what's in the file, which makes me want to know more!)  :P

Its a virus. CDC stands for Control Department Centre. Bad CDC means that they have totlally distroyed the control department of your com, which is your CPU.

Tell me when you've scolded your friend and replaced your hard drive!!! ;D ;D ;D

hmm bad cyclic redundancy check.

i don't think it's fixable; if he made the file, then it's probably a joke. i sometimes get these CRC errors when i try to copy something from um... not so legal dvds, so it could be that too.

When you use winrar you there's a repair archive button somewhere, that helps sometimes. What Ihatepop says is not true.
