This is a really attractive song, John. The piano accompaniment does indeed have an Oriental tinge which admirably balances the simple singing, and the mood might capture perfectly the enigma we Western men detect (or think we detect sometimes - I've been married to one for twenty-seven years) in the Oriental female. As with all your music, it is thoroughly professional in the best sense of the word.
