How about Roman Polansky's
The Pianist
. The story is heart-warming and Adrien Brody actually learnt how to play the piano and the first couple of bars of Chopin's 1ère Ballade. It's great movie for a Chopin buff (even though there is relatively little piano playing in comparison to the length of the movie).
