This is the original.

I have several transcriptions, but they are all copyrighted.

Would one of those be Rachmaninov's own transcription? I have the one by Zoltan Kocsis.

I didn't think Rach made his own - I remember asking that question before.  It's not played too often if he did.
Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.

There's a version by Sergio Fiorentino also.

I don't know if this is of any help.

We know that, Thal - that's just one of the endearing things that makes you what you are to us all!

SHROUD OF TURIN  - FRAUD: or just "shrouded" in the kind of mystery that we don't need...
NOAHS ARK - FRAUD: or maybe just not quite up to the standards of the QE2...
SPEAR OF DESTINY - FRAUD: "I shot Time's Arrow into the air. It fell to the ground. Hit Berkeley. Square".*
BIBLE - FRAUD: no - just incomplete, endlessly translated and transmogrified and then finally profoundly misinterpreted...

* "Time's Arrow" is the orchestral masterpiece by Anthony Payne and "Berkeley" is Michael of that ilk - if you will...

Anyway - to return to the subject of Rakhmaninov's Vocalise and its variously transcripted self, anyone for my Vocalise-Reminiscenza? (asked he, shamelessly advertising the while)...

For starters, maybe YOONIEd it, Thal...

Best,

Hinty, this is supposed to be sheet music here.

Why don't you post some Sorabji scores.

Oh, on you go, I'll take a look at it.. I'm always on the lookout for fresh music to mangle..
so long as it's at least moderately tonal. Btw, I was joking about the mangling. Any mangling would be unintentional. :)
