Hi everyone,

I have just been going through the syllabus for Grade 8 piano and would like your opinion/help in choosing which piece to play for the romantic section (List C). My aim is to have lots of contrast between the pieces and here is what I have so far:

List A (Studies etc.)
MOSZKOWSKI, M. Etude de Virtuosite in G Minor, Op. 72 No 2

List B (Classical)
MOZART, W.A. 1st movt of Sonata in A, K331

List C (Romantic)
Either ALBENIZ, I. Evocation from Iberia, Bk1  << (I think I like this one the most)
OR     BRAHMS, J. Intermezzo in E, Op 116, No 4
OR     SCHUMANN, R. Romance in F#, Op 28, No 2

List D (Contemporary)
GERSHWIN, G. No 1 from Three Preludes

Thanks!

Diana
