Self-composed piece "A river"
on: December 18, 2006, 07:41:13 PM
This is an etude i recently wrote (recorded on a yamaha). It's an exercise in tremolos. Much inspired by "Fountains of Villa d'Este", Uses some of the same ideas etc but much easier to play. Written in C. I tried to make it sound like a more constant stream of water that develops into a river
Enjoy

Ooooh! it sounds nice, very relaxing. I feel like surrounded by flowing water.
Good work!

Yeah, very relaxing indeed!
It reminded me of Liszt's "Chasse Neige" in some parts...

Really cool... funnily enough this comes right after Ravel's Barque sur l'Ocean and Ondine on my iPod... it fits in perfectly. Thanks for sharing!

It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.
A world, in short, totally unlike our own.
