My mom is so annoying.....help me solve her riddle !

So I was suppost to have a piano lesson tomorrow, but my teacher just called me and said her baby arrived last night (4 weeks early), so lessons are suspended until the new year.  Anyways, my mom was like, Oh no.  And I was like, what?  And she said that I'm not suppost to be here tomorrow because apparently my Christmas present is arriving, but nobody is bringing it??  ??  ??  So I either have to leave for three hours, or stay in the piano room for 3 hours, or go next door to her house and stay in the back room and watch t.v. for 3 hours.  What kind of present takes up 2 houses for 3 hours?  I can't play in my livingroom on my nice piano, and I can't do a puzzle in her living room (the 2 things I'd like to do if I had 3 hours to kill).  I either have to play on the little piano in my basement, or go in the back most room of her house.  Then she gives me some hints.  Here they are.  Help!  I'm trying to guess.

But the five-sided box it comes in (Hint. 2)  (I asked her what she meant by 5 sides and it was clarified that it meant a box (4 sides plus 2 more side for top and bottom), that is missing one of these sides - not a pentagon shaped box)

You've examined this gift a number of times and enjoyed it tremendously.  (Hint 4.)  (This is a tough one, because I really don't remember examining anything a number of times?? ??)  (P.S. she says it's not a keyboard, cause that is something that I have looked at before).

i thought maybe a piano - but you said no keyboard.  now, this rocking motion bothers me.  i was thinking literally 'rocking chair.'  but, that wouldn't come in a five sided box.  i'm such a simple minded person.  five sides.  moves back and forth.  won't fit under a tree. 

ok. we're talking size here.  perhaps a piece of furniture that you can push and pull drawers in and out.

but, really - you're not supposed to figure your present out ahead of time, are you?  then your mom would be really disappointed we helped you figure it out.

it's a huge dice.  and you have to throw it to get the back and forth motion.  nobody is bringing it because your mother has hidden it in the hatch under the floor.  that is where she hides all the presents.  but dont look now.

are you the baby?  or is she actually getting a man.   are you the father of the piano teacher's baby.  just coming to hang out and get away from all the boohoos.  well, that's some kind of present.

or are you bringing the baby and dropping it off.  hmm.  but, the baby is not being brought.    it is being thrown.  with pooee.  (i figured out the mystery word that you thought was poem). 

it's being thrown at the doorstep - but not under a tree.  you have just inherited your piano teacher's baby.  it's name is bactvel.  they named it for the drugs the mother took to endure the birth.  (now, i'm getting too silly, i know).  apparently the baby has a first name and a last - as your mother provided a line for each.  pooeee bactvel.

ok.  i'll try to be serious here and think.  hmm.  what would be truly ' wonderful.'  your mother did use that word.  i can't imagine staying up with a baby - unless it was your own at some later date - would be wonderful.  what scares me is the phrase 'filled with lots to see.'  that sounds an awful  lot like a diaper.  is your mother ok?

Lots to see? Maybe it's a very large, elaborate kaleidoscope that takes three hours to put together due to the fact that it's made of scrap metal from the tetanus vaccine factory, and shards of glass from airbag testing facilities.

The back and forth refers to the fact that I am a huge movie buff, so my mom is constantly taping movies off t.v. for me to bring home (next door), and watch.  And after I watch them, I take the tapes back so she can retape another movie over the old one.  So we have a whole whack of these tapes going back and forth all the time.  Now, I can have the 24 hour movie channel in my own place to distract me even more from practicing .
