how much?

Check out the Roland KR-117M -- I've seen them around 8 grand brand new (you might find it cheaper). I played around with one,, one of the most sleekest digital pianos out there... some specs you'll find on the roland site:

    * 88-key Solid Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard with Escapement and “Natural Look Effect” keys
    * 128-voice polyphony
    * 88-note multi-sampled piano sound with “key-off” and resonance effects
    * 780 tones (including 8 tone wheel organs, 17 drum kits, 1 SFX set)
    * Reverb, chorus, rotary, and 60 other effects, plus advanced 3D sound and Dynamic Emphasis
    * 310 internal styles with Visual Arranger
    * 570 Music Assistant titles with Visual Music Assistant (compatible with Hal Leonard books # 57 & 200)
    * 70W x 2 (20cm. + 5cm.) + 70W x 2 (16cm. + 8cm.) speaker system
    * XLR audio out
    * USB-MIDI & 2 USB external memory ports
    * Over 190 internal songs
    * Polished ebony finish

Personally,, I feel Roland is much better in the digital world.. how much experience does kawai have in digital keyboards and pianos?

when you say:

i like kawai cuz yoshiki uses kawai.
i like kawai's grand sound.

1)don't buy an instrument just cause a musician uses the same make.
2)can't compare the sound of an acoustic grand to a digital grand, especially when you say "i've downloaded the smaple sound, but i dont like it at all."

i would not recommend buying a digital grand because my music teacher in school bought a really expensive one for 8000 Euro by Yamaha for our school. I played on it.

Admittedly, it has lots of technical features that are amazing it can even access the internet
lol. Personally, the sound is really artificial and is not as great as  compared the sound of a good piano or grand piano. After all,  you dont need these technical features really.

just play the dam thing and compare it with other models. Ignore the other rubish available on  that thing if youre only planning to use it for practising. You like it? then buy it. Dont ask us  ;)
