Software to help teach music reading / playing?
on: December 31, 2006, 03:11:02 AM
Hi, I love playing rhythm games like the Wii, Guitar Hero, and Dance Dance Revolution because they are like a virtual teacher. They also give you awards and keep track of stats, so it feels like a normal video game.
Here's the question - are there video learning programs that let you plug in your electric keyboard, guitar, or other instrument that has lessons and activities? I could do this all day, and simply reading and playing the same music over and over doesn't help my skills. A lesson program like this would rapidly help me learning to read music and play instruments.
So, is there software like this?
