As usual the event explored Chopin's music through diverse perspectives, spanning four centuries of repertoire. Piano Street presents a selection of concerts videos including an interview with the festival’s founder, Chopin Institute’s Stanislaw Leszczynski. Read more >>

Do they exist? What are they like? Are they from another dimension?

A google search turned up quite a few "piano forums" but none are like this one.  They are strange and scary.  In fact, after the above mentioned search, I assumed the fetal position and sucked my thumb for a whole 15 minutes before pulling myself together to write this reply.

Actually, maybe you might have already heard of it, but yahoo groups, they contain certain groups devoted to discussing piano or classical music. They are not "scary" and well not as good as the forum here. Its not exactly a forum but something near that where you actually post topics or replies all in a same page rather than subdivided into different categories so it can be quite broad and general. Hope this helps.

I only found one other supposed *piano message board*.  I signed up, and started getting "sexy girls* messages from them.  So this board is definitely different, except for maybe comme_le_vent.

There's a pianophiles forum on Yahoo for serious hardcore piano performance geeks.  And on the Richter forum they discuss the merits of such things as his performance of the Pictures from 1958 in upper Uganda ::)

The Piano Education Page has a "Message Board".  It's new and it needs input.  Check it out.

There exist a lot of them.
For example, https://pianosociety.com/forum (my own favourite ;-))
Download free classical piano recordings and free sheet music at Piano Society (https://pianosociety.com)

I wouldn't put Chopin Files in the top 3 anymore. It's been completely taken over by idiots. Hardly anyone else posts there now.
