did you all know bach had 21 children??? I just found this out and it was pretty surpising.

Yes, Bach was married twice. And most of Bach's children died shortly after they were born.

It is rather well known
Apparently, so I'm told, Wilhelm Freidman was the msot talented of the youngsters - I haven't heard any of his stuff, so i can't offer an opinion.
I didn't know Papa Bach spent time in jail though.

i didn't know women didn't wear underwear back then. perhaps that was part of the problem?

Saw it on a doco, apparently he was a a bit of a rebel when he was a teenager - I don't remember the exact details of why he got locked up.

i didn't know he had an adopted son who died - plus taking care of all his own. whew. that's a lot of children. looks like almost one a year.

A previously unknown manuscript by Frédéric Chopin has been discovered at New York’s Morgan Library and Museum. The handwritten score is titled “Valse” and consists of 24 bars of music in the key of A minor and is considered a major discovery in the wold of classical piano music.
