Scriabin plays scriabin?

My teacher told me to try to find some recordings of scriabin playing himself, but I can't seem to find anything. Are there many recordings of him? Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately no acoustical recordings. Only some piano rolls, and they don't really give you a good idea of how he played.

On the contrary....have you heard the Rachmaninov piano rolls? They're some of the best recordings of many of his most beloved pieces.

I have heard some people mention the Scriabin rolls as very unusual but very interesting for Scriabin lovers. I would love to know where to find them.....

No, there aren't recordings of Scriabin playing the Piano. As mentioned above, there are Piano rolls of some of Scriabin's pieces. Some people think it's Scriabin himself playing the Piano in those Piano roll recordings, but that's not true.
