Is a grand ok for a 30m2 room ?
on: January 28, 2007, 01:46:37 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of buying a new piano (I have an upright Seiler 116), and I'm thinking of getting a "Grand Piano" (1.8/2.1)

Considering that my room is a 30m2 surface, do you think this is a good idea ?

I am actually looking at the Schimel 189.....

Any advice is welcome :-)

It's a matter of how much you are willing to loose for it. I'd definatly do it. Loose a couch, get rid of a table, stuff like that.

Is the room carpeted - or wood floors etc - the ressonace could get unacceptible.  Also do you have neighbours.  A grand will sound wuite big in this size of room.
