Sounds like the title of a porn/horror movie, but no, it's how many members we have here.

With  supporting roles played by Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, and a pretty girl who can't act but looks good in an underwired nightie...

You do surprise me Thal, not knowing about underwired nighties, I thought you were a man of the world...

An underwired nightie is a nightie with a bit of cunning scaffolding built in to make sure the heroine still has wonderbra-style cleavage so she can tremble interestingly when being threatened by the vampire/werewolf/insert monster here that she's come across having gone downstairs at midnight to investigate in her nightie after hearing a noise in the haunted mansion she's spending the night in to claim her inheritance.

Well, after as articulate and detailed an explanation as the one that you've just provided here, if the big red fire engine doesn't go now, it surely never will...

It may or may not be a piece of Bushian Sophistry but, in UK at least, it's a speciality item sold exclusively by John Lewis (you know - never knowingly underwired)...

How many of those are actually ACTIVE members though. Very few of them actually seem to post anything. Which seems a shame. I cant help but feel the more peopl who post the richer the tapistry of discussion we would have on musical matters.. BuT alass one cannot always get the horse to drink.

I  have wondered the same thing pianowelsh.  I wonder what would happen if that many people would be on the forum at the same time, even half of them.  It seems like there are never more than thirty at a time, maybe not even that many.  I wonder if the site would get clogged, then no one could post anything.  It would be nice to get more input from the others, but then, it is nice to get to "know" the few that do post.

I (even though I am a noob) agree that it would be nice if a larger number of people actually were on here and posted stuff more often.  However, I think it would be even better if we had a larger number of people who posted informative and useful information.  Sometimes, perfectly good threads get hijacked or just plain wander off track simply because nobody has anything helpful to say.

Hey, what did you have for dinner last Friday?   ;D  ::)

There is such a list. There is a 153-page list of all past and present members. By post count, starting at the top with the biggest poster (Pianistimo), the first 17 pages contain all members with more than 10 posts. After page 53, all the post counts read 0, so roughly a little over two-thirds of the entire Pianostreet community are/were lurkers.
