what is the matter with you, thal.  haven't you a shred of romance in them bones.  was it the witch boss?  or a girlfriend?  i jsut don't understand it.  the 'bells of ireland' would be better than those choices.  although i kinda wondered about the 'black dalia.'  was it on there?  what would that mean.  i hope you die soon?  anyways - i've never really known what each meant - just that any flowers that have FRAGRANCE are nice.  sometimes you get roses that don't have much scent - and then other ones have really beautful smells.  stick your nose in all the flowers and give her the ones that smell good.

coriander =lust?  what does the coriander flower look like anyways - that would provoke such an idea?  or is it that when you eat it - it's an aphrodesiac?

sometimes i think i'm teaching you the wrong thing.  on the other hand.  perhaps you are more of a christian than i am.  and perhaps, just perhaps - my iq is not much higher than 45.  but don't make a scene about it.   at least until friday.  although i've been thinking about wednesday.  you know - play really fast and hard - like i have a lot of passion left in me.  although - the last i saw - it was like breadcrumbs for the birds on the front porch.  whenever the weather is cold - i have no passion.  all bodily reserves are kept for staying warm.  if only we had that electric blanket that went kaput.

That's very kind of you, Susan - but in what way am I "sabotaging myself"? That's quite a heavy statement. Have you finally gotten to hear some of my music and formed that conclusion? - for I cannot immediately think of what else might have brought you to it...

sorry that you feel offended.  i certainly didn't mean to offend you.  just different beliefs - that's all.  and, i accept that you have as much right to believe the way you do as i do - my beliefs.  it's really not a point of contention.  just concern.  i mean- if we were in a burning building - we'd both be trying to point where the exit signs are so the other person could get out.  but, the thing is - if you wait until the last possible moment --sometimes the exit signs are hard to find.

I've got another question pertaining to flowers. 

What should you send to someone on the day-to-the-year of someone in their family's death?

white lillies?  maybe it depends what time of year they died and which flowers look good at that time.  i always think of hopeful things so that the family or person won't get more depressed.  white seems a hopeful color.  and, if it were someone i knew - and i happened to know what kind of flowers they liked when they were alive - then i'd put the kind they liked on their grave.

this is a really sad side note - but i once caught someone with a load of flowers they retrieved from a graveyard.  they said they were wasting the flowers and they had better use for them.  i didn't say anything -but it seemed a bit odd.

Not quite as bad as someone going to the cemetary on Fathers' Day and opening the two letters that someone's young daughters had written him and left at his grave, and then leaving them there, opened and violated.

when I went to the Vietname Memorial Wall, there was a tour guide picking up and messing with all the stuff that people had left in specific spots (under the right name, ya know) and then tossing them back anywhere. It made me sad. But there was NOTHING like that at Arlington.

Well in the case I know of, those letters were not intended to be read by any mortal eye.  They were sealed and sent to the memory or spirit of the one who had passed.  Anybody who knew them would have respected that.  Obviously this person did not.  It's sacreligious, I think, no matter what faith you adhere to.  It's a damn shame.  That's all I can say.  Words cannot describe the loss, and when it's violated in such a manner...it's just horrible.
