Seals
on: February 13, 2007, 01:14:48 AM
The European Union is considering banning products created from the seals (baby) that are killed each year... most in Canada.
The Conservative government in Canada said the action was not based on logic and factual research and that killing was done in a humane fashion.... similar to methods used to slaughter other animals.
The government went on to say that the Europeans were reacting EMOTIONALLY.
The question for discussion......... Are not most all human decisions made with at least a tiny bit of emotion.
Feelings...... ahhhhhh feelings...... you know what they are you musicians. Or do you. Why not make decisions using your emotions. Are not emotions what make us human .... have fun with this my fellow emotional musicians.... is there any other kind of musician. Or any other kind of human. Well dont get emotional about it this is only a forum.

Finally. We have been waiting for such a long time and putting out so much pressure before Europe made animal fur illegal. Now they are taking a first step.
