Live online piano playing (skypecast)
on: February 17, 2007, 03:18:10 AM
Hi,
Over in the another forum we've been discussing how to run a live online recital and Malzheit came up with the fabulous idea to run a skypecast.
Further investigation has revealed that this is an EXCELLENT medium for such a purpose.
I have set up a skypecast for people to drop in a check out how it all works. All you need is skype (free and easy - check this thread
https://www.pianoworld.com/ubb/ubb/ultimatebb.php?/topic/32/3798.html
) .....and speakers to listen.
https://skypecasts.skype.com/skypecasts/skypecast/detailed.html?id_talk=430049&hash=94052fc8d725172c38b2
(This is a private skypecast link)
I'll just be practicing a piece or two as I usually do, and the session is set to run for 5 hours from the time of this post. If anyone has a mic or a digital plugged in to their PC and wants to 'take the stage' just send a text chat in skype to me and i'll 'allow' you to talk!!
