concert last night
on: February 19, 2007, 04:46:21 PM
I went to a concert last night and it was really nice. The guys name is Andreas Haefliger. He played Beethoven Pastoral, Appasionata, and a Schubert sonata. I got an autographed CD of him playing my favorite beethoven sonata :).

i am a bit of a fan of haeflinger. unfortunately, ive only heard him play modern pieces, such as by gubaidulina, which i think he does very well. did he do any modernistic encores?

wow, i would have loved to be there, but not just for the beethoven and schubert. adès's darknesse visible is a wonderful piece based on a song by dowland. what was your impression of it? its a pretty quiet piece that one really has to pay attention to.

First half was modern, also with a clarinetist. Second half was late Liszt and the sonata. It was awesome :D .
In het concertgebouw ?
