Where is Bernhard?
on: February 20, 2007, 09:58:39 PM
 Dear fellows:
It's been a long time since the last time I see a post by him. Does anyone know what happened?
 Best!

he was caught hacking into the forum to delete the Hanon sheet music and so he was banned.

i think everyone misses him.  even when we don't see eye to eye on every subject - he has a clear concise way about him that makes him a good teacher.  and, i liked what he said about giving more lessons that one per week.  that was sort of an unexpected and creative mode of operating.  but, common sense for parents who might work out a bargain or deal to get the two lessons per week instead of only one - for a better price per year.

yes, i did mean that as a joke guys. he is a great guy and i think that although he may be taking a break or on holiday or gone, he may have completed his mission to inspire and teach here in the way he wanted.

i'm glad he is gone...if i ever saw him again i would track him down and surprise him at is house while he is reading chang's theory of piano playing. Then i would quickly stab him with a paralizing solution needle so he is paralized. Then i would drag his body to his bathtube and put him in it. then i would turn on the water until it rises above his head. after about 3 minutes i would take him out of the tub and then start picking at his eyes with a tootpick. after that i will wrap him up in razor wire and roll him down the stairs. I will then peel off his skin and spinkle salt all over him. then i will burn him with a match and then remove his lips. then i will cover him with wax and then throw him in a secret chamber. I will keep him there for the rest of his life and feed him a steady diet of puke and poop. I will also phsically abuse him everyday for 30 minutes. oh, and i will force him to also saw off his jaw.

geeze i'm just kidding...but i still don't like him. because he makes me feel so insignificant.   >:(

lau, i don't know why thal always asks ME if i've been taking my meds.  what about you?  (although you did make me laugh - unsophisticated as that may be).  i'm sorta put off by chang, too - but, hey - everybody has different ideas of what works.

I see that's your point. But if you read him more in depth your feeling of your significance would rather increase I am sure.  ;)

I don't understand this.  He was always respectful, and informative.  His intelligence is far above mine, in the area of piano, but that just made me want to learn more.  He was polite, and even humorous at times.  I miss him.

I think we need to create a bernhard bot to post random bernhard comments in threads.
this place has been far less interesting for me since he left.
But then again, who wants to spend there whole life giving of themselves.
Everyone has limits.
I mean, he said everything he had to say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never mind repeating himself.
He started quoting himself and refering people with links to his writings in other threads.
In fact other people started refering others to those threads too.
The guy rocked.
But im sure he still rocks wherever he is.

Would anyone be interested in creating a Bernhard index?  I sure would, he posted a wealth of information and it would be great to search out his solutions in an index.

I think he realised pianostreet is crap, and not what it used to be, so he left.
