so it is against the rules to talk about them? i didnt see that in the rules list.
It is not stated in the rules (except for "We reserve the right to remove, modify or move posts at our discretion and without explanation.") The reason is that it is not explictly forbidden to discuss banning.
if i may suggest, can you please just edit the person's post, saying something like [removed by admin, against the rules] or something of that nature? it can be very confusing at times when i try to look back at a post ive seen, sometimes.
Thanks for your suggestion. We could even make the rules more structured by deviding them into paragraphs and then state in the removed post with regards to which paragraph the post has been rmoved.
Why would you prohibit discussion of banning or banned members? Don't you think pianostreet deserves to know under what conditions banning takes place?
It is not prohibited but, as I said, usually removed.
Reason:
The administators of this forum are never publicly stating or discussing in detail the reasons for
specific cases of banning.
Neither the banned member in question is (quite naturally) taking part in such discussions.
This means that when discussions about banned members occurs the assumed reasons for the banning are usually very far from the truth. Instead of letting everyone getting false facts about the specific banning and consequently about how this could affect their own use of the forum it is
usually better to remove it.
General questions and discussions about banning are not removed.
