What game console do you guys have?

splintercell is ace. i just sold my ps2 on ebay today with 31 games etc. for £120. That will quench my insatiable thirst for piano recordings for a day or two...

Sega Saturn - Nights was, and still is, an awesome game
N64 - Pikachu version, his cheeks light up when it's turned on
Gamecube - Mario Kart's a fun multiplayer game
PS2 - My sister won this among other things as part of a Radio1 competition
XBox360 - bought it recently from a friend with 4 360 games - Perfect Dark (the main reason for the purchase, LOVE IT!), Sonic, Oblivion and PGR3 (it has an amazing arcade game called Geometry Wars 1 & 2) - and several XBox original games, with one wired, one wireless controller, HDD and a bunch of music already uploaded all for £250.

A Wii will be my next purchase

Scratch that, Super Smash Bros Melee was and still is the best multiplayer game on the gamecube

I mainly play computer, but - Genesis, Playstation, N64, and I just bought a Wii. Let me tell you, the thing OWNS.

Zelda. Period. It's even better than Ocarina of Time back on the 64. Haven't seen any others that really have caught my eye yet. I'm waiting for smash bros and mario cart.

The GC Zelda world is mirrored, so it will seem completely different if you play the two versions. I think that's quite a smart idea, rather than making an exact replica. There are other differences too, but I can't remember them. Obviously the way you attack is far more interesting on the Wii

me and my friend were talking abhout the wii controllers, and think it would be really really really funny if they made a Wii Harvest Moon!! Can you imagine milking cows, playing with da baby, hahahaha.......petting animals too.

hahahaha that would be great fun, and insanely weird to watch! y'know you could probably make it, there's a Wii development kit which allows third party indie developers to make really simple games. it was designed to be as simple as possible. all you have to do (in essence) is move the controller how you'd like it to be moved, and class that as an action. the rest is programming stuff i don't quite understand, but it seems far simpler than other next-gen developments.

I understand the Sega Megadrive will be released there in 2008.

I remember playing a megadrive game where you were an elephant trying to free all your friends from locked cages, and you could jump on and squash the evil park ranger guy - immense fun


Oh and also that slightly 3D game (hotrun like perspective - flat sprite with moving background) where your a guy shooting at things with big colourful circles, and occasionally a dragon would come along and you had to hit it when it turned it's head away - that was immense too

Despite the obvious quality of the modern games, i would say that the most amount of fun i have ever had with games, was on the old Megadrive.

Rainbow Islands was my favourite.

That was released in 1987 which i guess is ancient history in gaming terms.

I remember the first tennis game that came out in 1978 i think. It was just a dot bouncing around the screen. I thought it was the most amazing thing ever at the time.

Classic arcade-like games are the best! I find Geometry Wars on PGR3 for XBox360 way more addictive and fun than PGR itself - it's so simple! One joystick for movement, the other for firing, and because of the power of the machine it looks really amazing!
