Durufle's Requiem
on: February 28, 2007, 01:04:48 PM
I know this is a strange request on a Piano Forum, but there have been some remarkable contributions in this section.
Has anyone a .pdf copy of
Durufle's Requiem
for SATB and organ (or orchestra)?
It's a most wonderful work and I'm definitely having it at my funeral (hopefully some distance in the future!), though I pity the organist. It is pretty much the Rach3 of the organist's repertoire.
Thanks

Does anyone else here think the opening of Liszt's 'Orage' (AdP - Suisse No.5) sounds like the Gymnopedie from Hell?
