Chopin 28 - 3
on: March 04, 2007, 01:54:39 AM

Just a couple of quick Q's on this wee prelude...

What would you recommend as a good starting tempo? I hear alot of people play this one quite quickly and always feel it sounds a little rushed. I know its vivace, but does it need to be soooo quick?

Use of pedal? Right now Im working without the pedal, trying to get the left hand as smooth as possible. Is it typical to use the pedal in this piece?

Thanks!
