Hi bethanyw,
It may be useful as an aid for piano learning and also to keep interest in the instrument, especialy in young children. However the over all musicality of the program seem dubious straight away with a claim that piano can be learned in "30 days". This type of leaning will only be superficial one suspects and not really teach the child the technique and skills that a piano teacher would allowing them to progress musicaly and ultimately play pieces at a high level and enjoy playing them.
However if you are not looking for your daughter to seriously take up the piano, and just looking for some semi-accademic fun, then this would probably be the right thing. On the other hand with the starter kit at $80 and the premier $199, it may be wiser to invest in a couple of piano lessons with a teacher first which you could sit in with your child and then decide if the both of you wish to commit to real lessons.
