Does anyone remember Thalberg?
on: March 06, 2007, 02:54:03 AM
Hi all.  I've been gone now for well over a year, and now I'm back.  I was Thalberg, but when the site changed I couldn't get back in as Thalberg.  Now I'm blintz.  Does anyone remember me?

The only person I see here from back then is Thalbergmad.  Everyone else seems to be gone....pianonut, bernhard, mikeyg, xvimbi, jenr....where'd they all go?  Weird....

Hi Thalberg.  Where have you been?  Still teaching close by?

No Way!!!!! Pianonut is Pianistimo??? That is so hilarious!  Oh, the poor woman.  She was so much fun, such a lovable person when I was here before, and now everyone is attacking her.  They just don't realize how nice she is.

Oh, and amanfang, I'm now in Minnesota.  I got fired for being a bad accompanist, an accusation of which I am extremely guilty.

Too bad.  I never did make it over to hear your Goldberg Variations.  Oh well.

Bernhard has dissappeared.  Second time it's happened.

I think some of the others just got tired of the forum.  Left, or just lurk now.

Well, I'm at least glad this is the second time Bernhard has disappeared.  It tells me if he came back once he'll come back again.

I've heard of Cokato, but not the other one.  A friend of mine was from Cokato.

Good to see you, Bob.

Oh, and amanfang, I never played the Goldberg Variations at North Greenville.  Even though I had them ready to go, the accompanying load kept me from giving a recital.  Seriously, I got lots and lots of accompanying.  Which I couldn't do.  How embarrassing.
