Composer who started playing late?
on: February 25, 2004, 05:35:43 AM
I'm trying to find a composer who starting playing the piano late - around 9 or 10 years of age or even later.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks!

Wagner and Berlioz are two that come to mind. Wagner could barely pick at the piano and Berlioz never really played an instrument, but these two men are considered very important composers.
