Liszt-Tausig: Symphonic Poems: Mazeppa
on: March 08, 2007, 06:57:07 PM
Does anyone have Tausig's reduction of the Symphonic Poem Mazeppa? That'd be very interesting...

For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert. (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

Are you sure about this old chap.
My T to Z files are on a different hard drive at the moment so i can't check, but i think he only did the first 4 symphonic Poems.
