I'm just dragging today.I'm thinking the best thing to do is keep following plans from previous days and just get into doing something.Of course it would get great if things were ideal and I always got enough sleep, etc. But I know this will come up again.Any other ideas? Is there any way to overcome this and thrive in spite of fatigue?

good advice on that one! light therapy by just going outside is good. and, exercise. it regulates hormones for you and also makes you tired. even if you work all day - if you go and work out at the gym in the evening - it might make you tired enough to go to sleep. although, in a few cases with my children it makes them stay up later as they feel revived.
