Rachmaninoff Etude Op.39 No.6 in A minor

1.  Does anyone know of a good publisher for this piece with good suggestions for fingering? I've seen one publisher (I forgot the name) but the piece does not have fingering markings and I think the fingering markings would be helpful especially for the left hand.

2.  How should I be practicing the sixteen notes in this piece to obtain fluency? They have to be played at a very fast speed.  Is there any technique anyone can recommend?

Thanks!

In most editions of Rachmaninoff's works, the only fingerings given are those that he supplied to the publisher or the original edition. I have an Alfred edition of the Preludes with fingerings given, but all the fingerings they give are simply terrible. I recommend that you sit down at the piano with a pencil and a few erasers and just make up your own. If you don't want to do that, then get a teacher who can help you.

I dont know about editions.

For the 16th notes, I think you talking about the RH notes (I played this a couple of years ago, so cant quiet remember what is what)..  I did short repeated note groups @ speed.

If you any questions felle free to ask, also PM me, since I dont always scan the entire board.

PS. I found this study to be hard as hell. So I hope you're not planning on jumping from Fur Elise to this.. Cause it might not quiet work.

Cheers!
