Lord of the Rings
on: August 21, 2002, 06:08:54 AM
Does anyone else here really love J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" books, and the movie that came out? Most of my musically inclined friends are really into it, and I was wondering if that trend is true for other musicians.

Love,

Sarah

I adore Lord of the Rings - both the books and the movie! Anyone else going to go see the next movie on opening night?!!  :D

Hey, for all of you other LOTR fans out there, I found this really cool site where you can download a Tengwar (Elvish) font!!! There are also some of the runic fonts from the hobbit, and some from LOTR. I'm learning to write in Elvish now, and it's just the coolest thing to be able to write something your bratty little sisters can't read!!! Anyway... If anyone wants to download it, the site is

I saw The Two Towers today. Love it! Love it! Love it!
and I think the music has made the movie much more dramatic.

I just saw it yesterday, everything's so exciting. I remember last year, I wanted to read the whole book before seeing the first movie. I got the book two or three weeks before the movie came out. Boy was I in a hurry to accomplish that goal. Both the book and the 2 movies are great, but once the last part (the return of the king) is released, there will be nothing to look forward to for movie world... :'(

LOTR is an amazing movie!
I can't wait for the 3rd part to come out.
Apparently its going to be a lot more tragic than the last two parts.
Which movie is your favourite?
I liked the Fellowship of the Ring better than the Two Towers, but only by a teeny weeny little bit!
