truth and faith is not wrested by levers and screws - as faust says.
seriously, if one wants to know what will happen before Jesus Christ returns - read the bible. it's really not in any person to 'prophecy.' if someone says something and it doesn't come true - we know they are not a prophet of God. if it does - every word - then there is something to it. there are a lot of preachers saying a lot of things. and, 'soothsayers' or psychics. but, hey - some things are cyclical and happen over and over.
what is unreal and amazing is that i believe we are not in 'cycles' anymore - but supernatural developments. the kind where - if we literally saw the angels of revelations - (the seven - witht he seven trumpets) we would realize that some of them have already occurred and some are yet to sound. that we are in an 'era' if you want to call it that - of a new world about to be born. the woman (church) is in a period of extreme distress - also called childbirth pangs - and when Jesus Christ arrives (after the last three trumpets - mentioned in rev. 9:1-21 and chapter 10) we will understand what we saw happening.
this 'wierd' weather is not a natural phenomenon only - but one allowed by God at this exact time (even if it is our own doing - by destroying the ozone layer) - and the bible says the earth will be relieved of it's 'mourning.' that even the trees and fields will rejoice and exult at Jesus return - because the earth is languishing and mourning.
ok. the first trumpet is hail and fire, mixed with blood = bombs. this is happening in those war-torn areas of the word such as iraq
the second angel sounded a trumpet and something like a mountain (oil refineries) burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood (or looked like blood =oil); and a third of the creatures, which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.
the third angel sounded and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch (we do not see these things literally - because angels are spirits), and it fell upon a third of the rivers and springs; and the name of the star is wormwood (could this be arsenic - seeping up and poisoning a lot of fresh water?); and many men died from the waters because they were made bitter.
the fourth angel sounded and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were smitten, so that a third of them might be darkened and they day might not shine for a third of it, and the night the same way. (pollution?)
as i see it - we are awaiting world war. that is the last three angels. the 'locusts' are helicopters (as john could not possibly have known what to call them) 'power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power. and they were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. and they were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment for five months (nucear fallout has repercussions of radiation sickness); and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a man.'
the millions mentioned as the sixth angel letting loose - have breastplates the color of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone, and the heads of the horses are like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceed fire and smoke - 200 million of them. eastern country with flags of those colors and a standing army of 200 million. i believe the 'horses' signify war - and 'like the heads of lions' indicates things like tanks.
how does God know all these things that will happen. i don't know! He just does. all you can do is watch and pray that you will be 'accounted worthy to escape all these things.' rev. 3:20 'behold, i stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me, He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne....'
Passover and the Ressurrection typify this very brief moment of history (3 days and nights) as monumentous in their fulfillment. God will literally dwell with man and 'wipe away all tears.' the first of the months of the israelites was nissan (commencing this year on march 19 at the new moon - on most calendars - right before the spring equinox) so - actually tonight is the eve of the 14th - and the very day that JEsus Christ partook of flat bread and wine and washed his disciples feet -as an example of service. also, this very night is the one that Peter denied Christ three times. i think God allows us to see what each of us is like without the help of the Holy Spirit in the days leading up to this one - so we may be more thankful throughout the year of the help it does give us. Peter was a faithful man after this trial and was saddened to know that it wasn't in his own person - this strength of the Holy Spirit - but from God. only God can give us His strength. we aren't strong enough ourselves.
tommorrow- the 14th of nissan - was exactly the day that Christ died. otherwise, He would not literally have BEEN the passover lamb. the lamb of God.
if you want to help 'prophecy' come true - enter His gates with praise right now. thank Him for being your God. give Him glory and praise now! He is king of all the earth and always will be. but, He holds out his hands for every single person on this earth to repent (especially on this day remembering his great sacrifice of Himself on our behalf) and to turn to Him and be humble. break out a bottle of wine and some bread and give thanks for Jesus Christ's own blood that was spilt and His body that was given on your behalf. share it with someone who is near you and explain to them the symbols. this is what was mistaken about the beliefs of the cathars and the waldensians during the inquisition - they believed the blood and body of Christ was LIFE and it was not some kind of karma that people came back to life in someone else. but, this was actually the belief that the HOLY SPIRIT (at baptism) resides in us as a downpayment of the fulness of the spirit that God will give us later at the ressurrection of the dead. that is our hope at passover.
