does anyone know where i can listen to (or watch a video of) an actual person playing rubinstein's 4th piano concerto online? its rather difficult to find

its anton rubinstein's most popular piano concerto, and it has been recorded quite a few times, most notably by hofmann and hamelin. you can hear a sample of hamelin playing it here:

i personally prefer hamelin's recording over all of the other recordings of this concerto. the scharwenka on that same CD is another story...

Hamelin's is not good, especially the third movt. Get both of Hofmann's they are great. Though I don't think you'll find them online. Unless at Gamingforce  ::)

because of the apparent dissent, i recommend trying to get both. and btw, i doubt gamingforce will have it, especially because its down.
