Medtner - Sonata in E minor 'Night Wind'

Does anybody have this?  I'm learning Prokofiev's 8th Sonata and I thought this would be a nice dark Romantic sonata to complement it with.

this is one of my all-time favorite sonatas. one of the most difficult, too. enjoy.

This is a rather huge undertaking..

I'd advise the A minor one would be a better alternative.

Yeah, I was also considering doing the Op. 30 since it's Medtner's War Sonata.

this (night wind sonata) is just a monster of musical piece
it is so deep and beautiful.
but it's VERY difficult, technically - the skills of a grandmaster.
musically - skills of a genius musician to play .
i suggest you do some mental prepration before tackling this ... monster.
