Chopin- Works without opus number
on: April 04, 2007, 07:36:16 PM
I'm curious about the much lesser-known pieces by Chopin. Does anybody have the following?:

Op. S 2 No. 1, Grand Duo concertant for cello and piano in E major (1832)

Op. A 1 No. 2, Prelude in F major (1845)

Op. A 1 No. 6, Nocturne in C sharp minor - Nocturne oublié  (NOT the famous one!)

(√) Op. P 1 No. 10, Variations in A - "Souvenir de Paganini" (1829)

Op. P 2 No. 9, Lied in A minor, Rêverie (Dumka) (1840)

(√) Op. P 3 No. 2, Fugue in A minor (1841-1842)

And also, if you have it, a Canon in F minor that I have heard rumors of but have yet to find proof that it exists.

Well, I got the work numbers off Wikipedia, so it's not exactly guaranteed, but there must be mention of it somewhere else.

Thal, didn't you say you had a set of rare Chopin pieces? Are any of these in there?

Got it. Yours too, Ganymed. Thank you both.

Any headway on that backup, Thal?

I'm still very interested in seeing if you have any of these.
