Haydn Sonatas
on: April 09, 2007, 12:51:39 AM
Does anyone have Hob.XVI:46 and/or Hob.XVI:32? They are in A-flat major and B minor, if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

Actually, I managed to find the A flat one, but that B minor is still elusive as ever...

Not sure if this is it, but I don't know if Haydn wrote another one in B minor, so...

P.S. Better be careful with asking for Haydn- the other one you originally asked for is in the pianostreet archive.

That's the correct one and the only one in B minor by Haydn.

I highly recommend this sonata, it is not very long, definitely not overplayed, not too difficult and very impressive when performed well.

Btw, Phil, why didn't you take it? (see https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php/topic,22180.0.html)

I'm learning the F minor Variations instead. But, perhaps I will look at this also- it looks appealing.  :)
