Piano Street Magazine:
Wagner’s Universe in a Pianist’s Hands

One of the most thrilling performances offered at Cremona Musica this year was the Wagner by Liszt recital given by Filippo Tenisci – Italian pianist, born 1998 and celebrated for his refined interpretations and expressive mastery of the Romantic repertoire. After his recital we got the chance talking to Tenici about his Wagner/Liszt project. Read more

I'm about to die from laughter. I LOVE Dickens, but wow- whoever did this is a total genius, hahaha.

Oh my GAWD, that cracked me up...  ;D

I definitely agree with the aforementioned characteristic, nowadays misused more often than not, of the author being one of those great figures rising above the average man labeled "genius", for to have so precisely and meticulously reconstructed the unforgettable experience of navigating a Dickens novel - any single one being most definitely a hallmark of the classical English literature, the popularity of which, sadly, is, faced with the ominous flow of cheap paperbacks, the irrationaly appealing bestsellers of our age, declining - desereves no less than such a statement of exhileration upon the magnificent work of art.

::) Upon experiment, it may not be -that- difficult to write Dickens-ish... it's tedious, more like... Hands down for the uncyclopedia person's patience...

haha, but the fact remains- Dickens can write like that and STILL be a total genius, and have thousands of people (like moi) who absolutely love his works.

In spite of his sometimes tedious writing- his characters and plots are just all so damn good, absolute must-reads.

Alistair wrote that, not knowing he was on uncyclopedia.

Personally, I like the Captain Obvious/Captain Oblivious/Professor Subtle/Mister Obvious deal on uncyclopedia.

Not sure of the identity of the particular Alistair whom you claim wrote whatever it was, but as far as the URL that you quote is concerned, it certainly wasn't the Alistair writing to you all now telling you that it wasn't the (you get it...)

Best,

Alistair (who. given the opportunity, would surely be more likely to fall off a unicyclopedia rather than actually succeed in driving one along that road to hell paved with good intentions...)
